Non Instructional Fees
These fees are assessed by the University. Below is a link to this year’s amounts, they are subject to change without notice. Your correct non-instructional fees will be calculated when you receive your official fee assessment in late July.
To see a sample of non instructional fees, please go to http://www.gradstudies.ualberta.ca/regfees/fees/noninstructional.htm
*this fee is a one-time non-refundable program fee and is assessed in the first term of your program. It will not be on your initial fee assessment. It is not added until the registration deadline in September (normally around the 20th). If you are starting in January it will not be added until after the registration deadline (normally around the 20th). Please calculate this payment into your total payment.
**in some terms you may only take two MINT courses, this is not enough to be a full-time student. If you wish to be full-time in that particular term you will need to take a course outside of the MINT program. In this case you will pay the normal instructional fees for a non MINT course plus a differential fee if you are an international student. All international students are assessed an international student differential fee. For Fall 2011/Winter 2012, the international graduate student differential fee is $101.54 per unit of fee index. This means if you take a *3 course and it has a fee index of fi6, you will pay an additional fee of $633.24.
***this is not calculated on your fee assessment that you will receive from the University. It may be collected by the department before the lab starts.
**** this is total instructional fee for 8 course and Capstone project. This does not include non instructional fees.
